Day 12! Power Cardio and Resistance
Well today I felt better after a day filled with good eating! I ate really good all day so I could have a little splurge of a side of homemade Mac-n-Cheese with my dinner and it was totally worth it! I can tell that i am getting stronger everyday. I am not going to lie....I can't believe I am still doing this! I am really proud of myself for sticking it out! It really has just become part of my nightly routine. I am starting to get nervous for my first fitness test at the 2 week milestone. I only have one workout left to really push it. I am going to do my first official weigh in then too. I think I am going to wait until my 4 week mark to take my measurement again. Tomorrow I actually have to do two videos so that will be a new challenge. One thing that gets me is when I look at insanity before and after photos everyone seems to have awesome abs and other then doing push-ups and such I haven't done any real ab workouts (but that changes tomorrow), then I remember something my sister told me once when I was complaining about my post baby belly. ABS ARE MADE IN THE KITCHEN. It is true.. Having great abs comes from eating well and tons of cardio. You can build up those muscles but it won't matter if they are covered in a layer of fat! So if you want that flat belly, then you have to burn those calories and feed your body right! There are no short cuts! Remember.....NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS SKINNY FEELS!!!
