Well I just realized that i wrote my blog last night and never published it! Oops!
Well today's workout was hard and I was not in the mood. I ate too much for dinner which just made me feel even worse but all the more reason to get up off of the couch!! So i did the workout and it was hard. I had to take a few breaks for water and I did some of the moves a lot slower than the video but that is OK. In the video even the Shaun T (instructor) has to take a break! The scissor kicks KILLED me!Well tonight I want to talk weight. One of the hardest things for me...and I think for everyone is once you start a new workout plan you want to see the scale move. I can lose inches but if the scale doesn't move I feel like a failure! My new goal is to only weight myself once a week and STOP WORRYING SO MUCH ABOUT THE NUMBER! It is about being healthy not about a number for me. I was to feel better in my clothes and feel better about myself. I was to set a good example for Karlee and for the people around me. Now that being said I would love to lose some lbs! But in the end that is not why I keep pressing play! I can already tell I am in better shape. I can run farther and faster. I am not getting as sore after the workouts. My belly seems flatter.... and most importantly....I feel better about myself! On the left is 127lbs of fat and on the right is 136lbs of muscle...which do you think looks better? It isn't about the number!

Keep up the good work! :)
ReplyDeleteIs that a day one then a day five? Good luck Allie!
ReplyDeleteNo it is just an example of how the number on the scale isn't the only thing that matters!
